What I hate about tumblr is that there are people who have to set everything “right”. They find a person that posts something that goes against their beliefs and general preferences and attack them. But what I hate even more is that they’re sneaky bastards and don’t mention the person directly or tag them, but lure in their followers to plan a group attack on the unsuspecting victim.
This is why all sjw are just spoiled brats for me. They won’t talk openly what bothers them, but wants to crush the person with full force because they believe they are right.
Well, maybe you’re not. You never know the OP. You never know what they’re like. Just because they put up a certain persona on the Internet does not mean they’re like that in real life too.
If someone posts fanarts that make you uncomfortable then just block that person. Don’t send others people to hate on the artist. Maybe just send a message to the artist and settle it in private. Don’t call them names. Don’t call them out to your followers. Don’t make others hate them in your name. Don’t assume the worst of them because they drew something “inapproperiate”.
Even if it’s porn. Even if it’s disgusting. Because Tumblr is a part of the Internet and the Internet has its rules. Whether you like it or not. You won’t stop people from posting. And driving them away from this site won’t help either. They’ll just go somewhere else and someone else will come in their place.
