she’s translating from her bestiaries in her free period for the fourth time this week -- in the middle of the school library. no one’s said anything, no one’s batted an eyelid; they’ve all ignored her completely or probably assumed she’s some sort of myth buff, which isn’t really a false assumption anyway. the text IS in 18th century french, however, and the only thing to give a clue as to what she’s reading are the diagrams in the parchment pages, so perhaps people just don’t understand. nonetheless, she’s quite content in her corner of the library as she keeps her head down and translates her grandfather’s words from old french to english. a client has requested all the information she has on a certain branch of WENDIGO, and she’ll get good money for it if she gets this done quick.
