The city’s voters will decide whether to tax marijuana dispensaries — and other related businesses — that will at some point roll into town iduring Redondo’s March 7, all mail-in municipal election. The City Council in September adopted an ordinance that repealed Redondo’s ban on marijuana sales and allows two cannabis dispensaries to open; the new rules went into effect in October, the same month voters rejected a citizens initiative that would have allowed three dispensaries.
