Listening to Yoongi and JIn casually bicker and laugh and talk as they stuff their faces with meat is making my soul flop on the floor with happiness.

Devouring Meat at Jamie Oliver's Barbecoa
Devouring Meat at Jamie Oliver’s Barbecoa
I. Love. Meat. I could never be a Vegetarian (bar that time when I was 14 because I thought it would make me cool and interesting but then McDonalds cracked me) so when I was invited along to basically eat meat at Barbecoa* – Jamie Oliver’s traditional fire-based meat fest of a restaurant – I was practically skipping there with steak knife in hand (very dangerous, don’t try at home)

You know it was a good Australia Day Meat Fest when u have bruises everywhere and no idea how you got them!
Frozen Pizza... I'm using the box as a plate because I'm a pig. An efficient pig.
If my ma sees this tell her it's eco friendly cardboard crockery. Tell your ma that too, we all do it sometimes.
//mun just lit the barbecue (googled the stupid word cause I keep forgetting the spelling) maybe back late tonight and hopefully back tomorrow afternoon. You have a great evening!!
Meat Coma- Extended Version
Friday and Saturday was mincemeat hand pies with lard and butter crust
Sunday was standing rib roast and yorkshire pudding with a laughably small amount of kale
Monday was a pork tourtiiere with lard and butter crust and a spinach salad with bacon viniagrette dressing
I have convinced myself that no drinking means I get to eat more and that eating half a jar of pickles constitutes adequate vegetable consumption.
This vacay is definitely starting out right
MEAT FEST!!!
---so this took forever to actually write up, very sorry---
Meat Fest was better than I ever could have imagined. It is definitely a reason to come back for another season, or at least to stop by for another Meat Fest
Lucky, Josh, and I drove off to the campsite around 5 after we helped the Adams Theatre clean up after rehearsal. The campsite was off on a little dirt road about 20 miles away from USF in a little clearing. When we got there the food was starting to cook on lots of slow cookers around, a meat cooker, and the actual fire. It was pretty sweet. They also made some cheesy dip on a propane tank which was surprisingly delicious and very easy to make.
As the evening continued people played koob, gathered into groups around the fire, went hiking and gathering of firewood, and ate the delicious food, including chicken skewers, brisket, beef stew, corn dogs, banana boats, guacamole, chips, potatoes, grilled broccoli and asparagus and lots of other yummy food! It was all very good and super yummy.
At 9:45 or so Josh, Carl, Lucky and I piled into my car and we drove back to Utah Shakes with a list of errands to run along with closing the Adams. We all went to the Ave (where we live) to pick up more clothes and such for ourselves and others. Then we went to the Adams to close the theatre and cover the Greenshow stage. After which we went off to Maverick (a gas station) and Stonebrook (another apartment complex) to pick up milk, caffeinated drinks, and other forgotten items. Once all these errands were done we returned to camp.
When we returned most people were around the campfire or out star gazing and continuing to eat all the yummy food. Many of us went out and stargazed for a while on the top of a hill that was behind our campsite. It was beautiful out, no clouds not too chilly, and there were so many stars! After this we all huddled around the campfire to keep warm. By this point it was probably midnight or 1am and those around the fire were getting scarce and continued to as the night wore on. Three of us didn't bring a tent and slept out by the fire, which was AMAZING! We decided to each pull two chairs up and sleep across both with our sleeping bags and close to the fire, but not too close. It was a little windy so the ashes were blowing a lot and now my sleeping bag smells like campfire. I think I actually went to sleep around 4:30 or so.
I then got up around 7:30 as people began to work around the fire and cooking area again. People slowly made their way back to the fire area from their tents. We had a pretty delicious breakfast too. Someone brought donuts and we had tons of bacon, waffles, eggs, coffee, and pineapples cooked in bacon grease. It was all very good. Of course more koob was played and more campwood scavenging. There were also a few gunshots fired to wake various people up by James. There was also some bb gun firing at an empty can hung on a hill. I also went for a quick walk around and took some awesome pictures of the mountains that I will post even later.
Around noon or so we left and headed back to the Ave. For the rest of the evening I think I napped and prepped for the next week of work. It really was a great weekend, I hope to go camping again very soon.
I want to make a set when I return to Pittsburgh. It's a really fun, easy game!
