paxton is the perfect final boy bc even tho technically josh fits the formula better, paxton was the sexual one who was an asshole but he had regrets, and he walked into a sketchy ass place to find his friends, and he went back for kana when he had a clear escape, and while josh fits the formula, paxton was somebody who you arent rooting for (or arent supposed to be, at least) and then suddenly you are.
