I've been replaying the Back to the Future Game again, and noticed something funny. This advertisement painted on a wall.
If you can't make it out in the picture, it's a painted advertisement on a brick wall. It's got a bottle cap as the background and says in curvy letters reminiscent of the coca cola font. "Drink Meat-Cola please."
Whose bright idea was MEAT-COLA?! What clown looked at soda and was like, "I know exactly what flavor the carbonated drink industry is missing!" And said meat?!
Maybe it's a product of the great depression? Everybody was making wild claims like a candy bar had the same nutrition as a full meal.
This is 1931, so the great depression already started about two years prior.
Even so, I'm sure it didn't stay I'm production for very long.
