Megaman vs mecha dragon from Megaman 2 ✨
Crusader is from a line of piloted machines built to trim, contain and neutralize a cosmic threat. It's been around for a while, successfully being held off at a distance in the solar system for now.
At the start of it all was Fleetway. This particular machine is one of the largest ever built that isn't a construction vehicle or transportation, and was revolutionary in her time. She needed a full team to pilot but Fleetway took on all three roles herself. Projected from the prongs on her face is a series of energy blades as her primary weapon.
Sentience is spontaneous here. One day she "woke up" and began to think for herself in ways that she wasn't programmed for. She gained a personality slowly, learned for herself. Fleetway eventually refused to be piloted entirely and retired herself from the Nova force after her role was split among newer mechs.
She's big huge and very fun for me lol I'm working on how she connects to Crusader's story and worldbuilding from there.
