1. Your first OC ever
This is actually a really difficult question, because I’d make so many characters when I was little that I may have never even done anything with after their conception. Like, I had these weird Naruto OCs I only drew once and this guy named Conrad who was just a dude with purple hair and a tophat and no eyesand it’s really hard for me to pin down which OCs came before others
For the sake of the question, and with consideration to OCs I actually used and developed, I’m gonna go with Rebelstar, who was a Warrior cats OC and the leader of a clan I made along with optic-lamprey (there was also a wolf pack but I couldn’t actually tell you which came first and we’re not even gonna get into that huge adventure) She was apparently descended from foxes and that somehow gave her bright red fur? Like, firetruck red fur? (I don’t know, young!Gabby logic) and she had like, black ear-tips and paws because that’s how animals workI still have notebooks in a box under my bed filled with whole lists of clancats and stories and meetings and all sorts of things.
6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related?
I’m gonna go with Cara and Julia, who are actually from two entirely entirely different universesThey’re both pale red-heads who like to keep their hair in ponytails, though Cara is taller and broader than Julia. (Cara plays lots of sports and has that sort of athletic build, though Julia is about on her level in terms of muscle because she trains a lot so she’s fighting-ready in case, I don’t know, she’s ever on the run from an organization that wants to do genetic testing on her)(Also, Julia’s in a circus so)(I don’t know what that actually has to do with anything but there it is)
26. Have you ever had to change your OC’s design or something else about them against your will?
Not against my will, no. Almost all my OCs are mostly personal projects that I don’t really put out there much (though I’m really exciting to be sharing things about them right now) so there’s never really been anything pushing me to change them. (I mean, I share them with Dakota and we discuss and develop things together, but none of that is ever against my will)
10. Introduce an OC with a complicated design?
This is actually sot of tough to think of because very few of my characters really have complex designs? The most complex I can think of at the moment (it’s like midnight and I’m sort of tired) is probably BillyWilliam “Billy” Harris is a 19-year-old former swim star who happens to have had his DNA mutated and is now partially aquatic. The mutations lost him all his hair (including his eyebrows, it’s a little unnerving), webbed his fingers and toes, and gave him fins. Specifically, he has 3 sets of fins (along his jaw, on his elbows, and along the back of his calves) and a single fin going from the top of his forehead running down the middle of his head til the very start of his neck. (As an example of what his fins look like: they’re sort of pointy and reminiscent of ones like THIS) He also has 2 sets of gills, along the sides of his rib-cage and on each side of his neck. He’s still able to breathe air, as his human respiratory tract is still in tact and workable. His skin is almost always clammy to the touch, and has an almost sickly pale green-ness to it. His teeth have almost all sharpened into tiny fangs. As if his aquatic mutations weren’t jarring enough, he also developed glands designed to secretes a toxin that pollutes any body of water he happens to be in (luckily, it leaves the air alone, though it carries with it an awful stench). Since he was about 17 (not long after his mutation), he’s been a member of an organization known as The White Plague (I was tiny and bad at naming things but the name stuck I guess? It’s never changed, this idea originated in like 5th grade) made up of other mutants all hell-bent on making the world pay for it’s transgressions towards them.
