WOMAN DIVINE ! She enchants him. Often times has he felt his legs waver, felt the weight on his back become too heavy, and yet there she was, afire despite it all and ready to save them yet again. Now, away from the flaming planet Earth, there is still no such thing as peace of mind. In dark nights when the thoughts overwhelm him, he slips out of his bunk bed and taps to the large window on bare feet, agitation in the curling of his fingers around each other, worry in the way brown eyes stare into nothing. Tonight is one of those nights. The dim neon light distinctly paints his features in a pale blue as he stands by the window, so lost in his thoughts that he only notices Raven when she’s already beside him. He thought she was fast asleep when he left the bed, left behind her warm body careful so as not to disturb her by shifting in his restlessness.
His lips are dry. When hers touch upon them, the storm in his head calms. A hand is raised to curve around her cheek, resting gently, holding onto her presence. Her kiss can be fire, it can be wild and all consuming. But now she tastes of Earth. She tastes of home and of safety. She unties the knot in his chest and allows him to breathe again. Upon parting from her lips, Bellamy rests his forehead against hers for a moment, eyes still closed.
