What Does Mechanical Shield Mean?
I'm going to explain this to you the way it was explained to me for me to finally understand what the heck mechanical shield meant.
You have a t-shirt on and you walk out into the sun. You spend time in the sun and where your t-shirt sits on your skin you're not going to burn because it's protecting you from the sun. Right? That's how 99% of us all have a "farmer's tan". That is exactly what mechanical shield means. It's a botanical shield that sits on your skin and protects you from burning. It's NOT a chemical protection like SPF. It has an equivalent to SPF. I'll explain below which products have that equivalent.
Which SeneGence Products Have a Mechanical Shield?

Original MakeSense Foundation

So how does mechanical shield equate to SPF for these products?
Each product is equal to 15 SPF.
I'll take me as an example. I use the Daytime Moisturizer, CCTM, and Original MakeSense Foundation. I have a mechanical shield of 15 for the Daytime Moisturizer, 15 for the CCTM, and 15 for the Original MakeSense Foundation. That equates to 45 SPF. PLUS the cosmetics have our proprietary skincare in the formula PLUS it's long-lasting, water resistant, sweat proof, smudge proof. SIGN ME UP! Right?!
