A week to go before REALLY entering medical school.
I seriously thought that I will be having classes since July 31, 2017. But then we were told that we still wont be having our classes only our orientation program for the school and college.
It is okay for me. It gave us the chance to do an ice breaker to our batch mates, be it fellow pinoys or the foreigners.
Lucky enough for me I got myself acquainted with someone. I will just call her Lei here for incognito purposes. so i wasnt really alone all the time that we were there in the university.
She didnt know anyone there herself even though she is from Bantay, Vigan City. so we were stuck with each other. Haha. not complaining tho, i really enjoy being with her and basking in her aura of friendliness.
sadly, were not on the same block.
Because the list of blocks were made in alphabetical order (her surname is far from mine) she ended up in the 3rd block and im on the 4th block.
I was quite devastated but then I realized that there is another plan for me.
we could still talk with each other because most of our schedule is the same. hahah so all is cool.
2nd orientation day
We were finally able to meet some of the Doctors who will be our professors and tutors in our subjects.
As always, I am quite inspired to do my very best whenever I see Physicians wearing their white lab coats. When I see them, I always end up envisioning myself talking like them, motivating the younger physicians to do their best and that
“Hey I was able to do it, so you can too! Yep, it wasnt easy. It was hard, but you’ll survive. wala ng ayawan to. that should be our mindset.”
today too, we were told by the Asst. Dean that:
“You know, when I look at your batch, I see a four-leaf clover. You guys are lucky! Why? because you guys were able to afford the subsidy of the government, for the first time in history this had happened. also, lucky because you are the largest batch to ever enroll here at our university. so, heres to hoping that all of you will graduate in the same number, and that all of you will pass every onslaught in med.school.”
Here is a blog entry, Hoping, Praying, Preparing for anything that will happened to my future is what had been planned for me.
TO my dear self,
Accept every little bit of uneasiness as a sign that you are growing into the best version that you are supposed to be.
You are loved deary. Smile you beautiful ray of sunshine! :)
