Endure. Across the two Presidents under which I've written this column, I find that the issues remain the same. And when one’s writing is about those issues, when it is about analyzing these problems that ail nation, as premised on the majority who suffer the most under the maintenance of the status quo, then every act of writing become an act of hope. The Forest. Thinking now that the more difficult challenge is to be able to see the smallness for what it is, and to go beyond what is sold us as important bits of information, because there are so many other more critical, urgent things going on, unfolding as we get distracted by what so easily offends our sensibilities, what we can comfortably raise our fists against.
