I just took a 90-minute jog (pausing for some iPhone photo snapping) around the lake, which must be one of the best places in the US to take a run. I saw lots of birds (birds here are quite chatty), where the bats hang our under Congress Street bridge, turtles, people fishing, and all sorts of local color. Speaking of color most of the homes bordering the lake have kayaks strewn about their backyards because... lake. What a fun place to live. Of course, you can rent them in front of @FSAustin as well as SUP.
