As discussed in the previous section every medical school personal statement, dental school personal statement or pharmacy school personal statement should explain how you became interested in the profession and what you like about the profession. In this section we describe how you can concisely put this material into your essay and make a compelling point that you should be accepted. Admissions committees are looking for individuals who have thought through their decision and who have chosen to pursue medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, etc based on extensive exploration. Here you should show the committee how your experiences proved to you that you like medicine or dentistry or pharmacy. We will also discuss how you can highlight your strengths as an applicant and convince the committee to grant you an interview.
