They give him a crown and called him king. They give him slaves that obey his every need. It’s because of his looks isn’t it. His “charm”. Yes.. yes..
If he wasn’t there, that could’ve been me! On that throne. On that nest of concubines. But they will notice me if he’s gone.
I plunged my knife. The blood spews off. He saw me, but couldn’t say anything when the could touches his neck. The widened eyes mean nothing to me now when I dragged his body.
The ensuing report couldn’t find the body and assumed death. When they announced it, no one was surprised. No one cared. People die every day here. All that matters is who would be next.. and..

He had a child!? And it was his right to rule!? What’s this nonsense!? I was the man by his side. The one that killed many in the war. I murder thousands, NO MILLIONS of stupid enemies. And they think a kid deserves it more than me!

It wasn’t long when they come in to my abode. They only fear for themselves. They don’t care at all what happens to their precious 3 year old king. They just wanted to get rid of the “enemy” that could go for them. Yet could they not think!? I was the one that sneaked poison inside. I was the one that found the opportune time to stab the first! Such murders are from a cunning and rightful king! I’m that king!
Not the creature that barely knows how to speak! Does it know how to do wars? Does it know how to fight!? Does it know how to trick and lie!?
They locked me up in here. They know that I should rule. They know I have the power, the strength, the brains, the looks, but they’re just scared of power! They’re scared of common sense! They’re weak, reinforcing their own beliefs in this corrupt kingdom!

I drop it letting the oil burn and let the flames draw inspiration to my eyes. How powerful the flame, consuming it whole. It was my empire! My example! My might! A purifying fire that envelops everyone! That protects the empire from idiots! That purifies them into something more!
