Hello Hellooo Destiny! I know Neko has said before that the reason Perriot became so obsessed/fixated was that mc was human. So could MC still gain Pierrot or Harlequin's affection if they were a monster? They would be the ones pursuing in the beginning, in this case. What would be a major difference between canon and this scenario? What I mean by this is basically since Pierrot was so fixated, it didn't matter what they looked like just that they were kind to him. So if it were a monster instead, would the qualities he looks in a partner be different? ((Last question i swear :0)) You think Pierrot has ever been pursued by another of his own? I mean, I would like to think he has? Tbh I'm not sure what qualities monsters find attractive in each other

Not to direct this towards you specifically, but we do get this question a lot.
YES. It is possible that all of them could have fallen in love with a monster.
The problem is, the game of The Freak Circus is about a HUMAN MC. If you want a Monster MC, it'd be a completely different setting, character, and means of falling in love. You'd basically have to create a whole new story. My rec? The story of the Pierrette works VERY well for a monster who wants to be with Pierrot but he doesn't see them (instead focusing on human MC).
And no....if a MONSTER is kind to Pierrot---he expects that.
He won't be impressed, fall in love, nor get yandere/obsessed.
It's because it's a HUMAN being kind to him that it matters. Monsters are a dime a dozen in this scenario. Plus, it is canon that if a human helped Harlequin, Jester, TT, and Doctor in the same way---they would NOT have been as impressed (nor obsessed) as Pierrot is. Pierrot is a WHOLE different case which you will learn about as you progress in the game.
The Freak Circus is about a human MC. You want a monster OC or hybrid? Make a different story; as even if a monster/hybrid saved Pierrot the same way---he would NOT, canonically speaking, react the same way he does with a human MC.
