Channeling the Clever Mind
Channeling the Clever Mind
For all of these thoughts about the mind being this clever tentacle-like thing that looks for ways to trap and trick us into various thought prison cycles, we must remember to greet our minds with compassion.
Our minds are still part of us, and even though our minds can be infinitely clever in terms of finding ways to trick us with this or that, this means we… ourselves are also that clever. And…

Media Outlets Fire
At one point and time, the news and media outlets we consumed would tell us the location of a fire and help us understand how it started. Today, it feels like many news and media outlets pour gasoline over the fire.

Is this allowed?
Do the trees ask if they are allowed? Does that bug ask if it’s allowed?
But, but what of the people who will think something of me? I hear you whisper... What of the social norms... what will they THINK OF ME!
I say, quite frankly that’s rather rude of you. That person’s thoughts are their own and none of your business.
Release Thoughts
When you allow thoughts to move through you, unjudged and unattached, then you allow for release.

Tension
Tension http://wp.me/s2zyRi-tension
Recently in meditation I’ve been practicing the release of any tension in my body that is hindering me from staying “in the present moment.” It’s gotten to the point where the majority of my body is able to relax and release, but three small areas have been especially challenging; my eyes, jaw and tongue.
I’m not asking for help, just sharing the interesting areas of tension.
