it comes out so agressive for no reason 😭 no matter what I say

like ever since I joined this fandom and watched bens videos and how NY says “yous”

I have figured out that I say that too, like not on purpose

I’ve caught myself saying it. it’s bad

I think I’ve just always been saying it, but never realized it.

I sometimes repeat words back to myself over and over to make them sound less like my mom 😭😭 (less like a new Yorker)

cause she’s like full on New Yorker, while my dad is Canadian/British

it’s not like anything is wrong with the accent, I just feel it doesn’t fit me.

like I have the face of a Canadian with the voice of a sassy New Yorker 😭
