First concert. :)

I was fourteen, and my best friend’s dad surprised us with (long-sold out) tickets to see RHCP in Philly. The show itself was incredible, but what sticks out in my memory even more than the concert was how amazing her dad was about getting us there and making sure we had a great time.

He carted us through Long Island rush hour on a Thursday and slept in the parking lot while we enjoyed ourselves. Such a wonderful dad!

I remember, in a hospitality class I took in high school, that one time we [my group] made a egg, sausage and spinach scramble and I was the only one who went back for seconds...which is funny, because normally I don't like spinach.
