I love patterns
I always love to find connections in things, people, or places. Even if it does not mean anything in a logical sense; I am aware I cannot hold on to them due to these patterns. I find it interesting when I disconnect myself from someone but we are still moving in parallels with each other. North - South, East - West.
Someone I separated myself from moved from the Southeast part of the City to the Northeast, whilst I moved from the Southwest part of the City to the Northwest. And yet, we still ran into each other twice during the same time of June, one year after the other.
I was disconnected from someone else this year. In the spring we both traveled to places where the same native language was spoken (during the same week). In the summer we will travel to different regions in the same time zone across the pond (again, during the same week).
There is a theory that if you have not had your last encounter with someone, you have not learned your lesson. The “counter” theory is meeting someone twice, but to feel true to myself is to let life carve this path, because this cannot be wished for.
