It is located on the Eastern slope of the Vlădeasa Mountain, on the Seaca Valley, tributary of the Răchiţele stream, at an altitude of 1000 m. The Răchiţele Waterfall consists of two steps with a 30 m dislevelment in total, and has a deep marmit with a 10 m diameter.
Rachitele waterfall
The Rachitele waterfall is on the eastern side of Vladeasa mountain in the Seaca valley, which is the side-water of Rachitele.

It is situated in the height of 1000 m, 30 m heigh and has two parts. At the bottom of the upper part there is a 10m diameter hall, which assures the scattering of water, just like a veil. For this reason this waterfall is also called “Vălul Miresei.
Unto the waterfall there is a road for cars as well as it is merely 6 km away from Rachitele. Thus, many tourists visit it in summer and in winter, too. Winter time, when the rock is frozen, it can be the paradise of those who like extreem sports.
