Do you have any advice for lonely sapphics looking to meet people? (I’m 22 for reference)

hi there friend!!

first off, you’re not alone. i’m 24 and can count on one hand the amount of girls i’ve been on dates with (only like one lasted more than 3 dates).

i’m probably not the best person to ask because i am incredibly introverted and audhd so socializing or connecting with people irl is something i struggle with immensely. but! what i do (or what im trying to do, i should say) is talk to people online. i met my very best friend a few years ago on this website because we had similar interests and i sent her a dm and even though we live like 3-4 hours away from each other we still visit each other whenever we can.

for dating, i don’t have much advice. some people hate dating apps but i would have never gone on any dates without them because i don’t know how to meet new people. and i have a friend who’s in a very happy lesbian relationship with someone she met on a dating app, so it’s not a total bust!

my therapist tells me to find things i love and find interest groups surrounding those things and meet people that way. i’m still working on this one, but one day!

sorry i don’t have much advice, but like i said, you’re not alone and loneliness is such an isolating feeling. i truly believe that there is no true human experience without some loneliness, but that doesn’t mean it lasts forever. be patient with yourself. focus on what you love and keep that close.
