I actually was sharing with Christen because I've just been debriefing on this so much, and I was sharing with Christen last night that it's kinda like a full arc of, like, what how I would have wanted my football career to go. Obviously, it got cut short, but what I really... like, I started off like this. Everything that the tournament was about was this feeling, like, of joy, of friendship, of football, like, of a deep love of football, and, you know, that's how, like, that was the beginning of football for me.
And then, you know, everything gets so serious, so fast, so competitive, just so professional and, you know, I lived this, like, really strong arc to the point where, like, you know, we're playing in this 2019 World Cup and we're literally championing equal pay at the same time, we're in a lawsuit, like, these are, like, really big, heavy, serious stuff. And I feel like football became, like, so massive, like, to the point where it almost felt it, like, lost a lot of those pieces of it. Right?
And I'm really proud of, you know, being able to do those types of things, but I would have loved that full arc of coming back to football, coming back to the original feeling of playing. And I was almost emotional because I was reminded of it, you know, again. And, to help create that, was a really special experience.
