really funny thing is this dlc really dumps exp candy on you. i noticed i was maxed out on large and xl candy so i used some to get a few pokemon to lv100, and then i checked back a bit later and i was maxed out again. ive been periodically picking out pokemon to get to lv100 and at this point i wonder how many of them won't be by the time im done with this game
22nd special scan was cobalion, for the third time (of 4 so far) the very latest i couldve gotten a legendary....
only 3 left now. ive gotten most of them. and the most itll take is 40 scans, so ive done most of those too
still on the lookout for hisui avalugg in the ice zone, while ive gotten the rotom one 4 times now
also i only have 2 sidequests left to do after getting bad special scans so im about to run out of those
yessss 16th special scan was virizion! (after previously getting latios on the 12th)
that's 2 earlier than the latest possible, so this isnt going to take the maximum amount of time after all. saves me a couple hours at least in the end. hopefully the remaining 4 dont take too long either (and maybe i could at least get an ice zone for hisui avalugg in between them? please?)
did my 11th special scan and haven't gotten the second legendary so once again it has taken the absolute longest it can..... hopefully i can get at least one of them sooner than 6 scans, would rather not have to do 31 more of these since it takes like an hour to build up the points...............
decided to do a sidequest every time i get something i dont want, which helps me look forward to it since i'm at least doing something new (also some sidequests give survey points which does actually help it go faster) but i only have 10 left so it won't help for too long
8th special scan is.... rotom! that's good, i wanted enough for all forms and that means i wont have to get all 6 from a sysbot
currently resetting and loading my backup save trying to make a 5-star donut with special power for it so i can also get auspicious armor while i'm there (armorouge is the only other non-legendary i still need)
fifth special scan was another battle zone so according to bulbapedia the next one is guaranteed to be a legendary (longest it can possibly take to get one)
all this time watching for hyperspace portals with alola marowak and TWO just spawned at once........ where were they before
well, that was the only thing i needed aside from special scans and sidequest stuff (though also if i'm going for a form dex i'm missing pumpkaboo/gourgeist forms... those are kind of annoying though so i may decide not to bother with them <- actually turns out hyperspace only spawns medium size ones so i dont even need to get them from portals)
honestly kind of evil for them to make gimmighoul coins super common in all hyperspace wild zones but then make gimmighoul exclusive to an extremely rare postgame portal. i keep having to sell a bunch of coins because im bumping into the cap. i dont have any to evolve (im not evolving that sidequest one that guy gave me)
