Mega Drive

I have 2 Mega Drive 2 consoles. I bought them from flea markets for not a lot.

One of them, although the console itself worked, the power LED did not come on. When we opened it up, we found that the LED was *smashed*.

There were not any bits inside so we could only conclude that someone had done it deliberately.

So for something a little different, we replaced it with a blue LED instead of a red one.

(The other MD II had an issue with a dry joint on one of the controller ports, which was also fixed.)

I got a SCART cable for my Mega Drive today and I plugged it in in the front room (for all to enjoy) and played Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Dragon’s Fury.

I ordered a Powerbase Mini so I’ll be able to play Master System games on it soon.
