oh this is hard on my tiny lesbian heart </3 i knew it was coming but i didnt want it to be true 😭 dont go schutty
for anyone who does not follow women's cricket (why?) megan schutt is the goat man and she does not let shit slide at all. she speaks up for equal rights in sports and queer support from organizations. she has been the trailblazer for all queer folks in cricket both mens and womens speaking up even when she knew it could cost her spot on the australian team when the policies werent as friendly. obviously multiple other queer ladies have played and started families and retried with a legacy but she was the first one to speak up while playing not caring about the backlash and the hate (Which she got. alot of. still does because she has a daughter with her now ex wife) she had been open about her journey and her life, both with her wedding and used it to spread awareness when australia legalized same sex marriage. also a gun of a player, an honest hardworking and dedicated sportswomen. i will miss you so much meggy also she was very funny and her videos always make me laugh. also i have a forever crush on her.
