Screw all you flying monkey dicks, Cas wouldn't need any of you anyway. Of course he has the most badass humans ever on his side... but if he had Meg as well???????
He'd break his way into Metatron's hideout, with every one of his siblings standing behind Metatron and Metatron says "I don't understand Castiel. This seems pretty suicidal, even for you. Are you really going to face the whole of Heaven's wrath on your own?"
Castiel would stand there and calmly say "No." And then from behind him would stand Sam and Dean, Sam wielding a general angel blade, spinning it in his hand and puffing himself up all big and Sam like while Dean stands there, the first blade in his hand, the red power of it lighting up his arm and feeding into his eyes making them glow.
Metatron looks completely unimpressed. "Winchesters, Castiel? That was your plan? Well, I can hardly say I'm surprised, if a little disappointed."
But then, outside the building, a baying sound starts. It's picked up, over and over, again and again until the whole area sounds to be filled with the sound of Hell hounds, absolutely surrounding them. The angels begin looking all around, terrified by the sound. They still remember it from the old angel/demon wars and the sound sends chills down their spine.
And then she walks in. Hair that same red-brown she prefers, leather jacket, tight dark jeans, eyes black and bottomless, all 5ft4in of badassery. She strides on over until she's standing next to Castiel, who immediately reaches down to take her hand, his own eyes glowing white-blue to match hers and Deans.
Behind Metatron, some of the angels are breathing in their awe, THIS is their Castiel, THIS is their rebel, THIS is the one with the power to take them home and lead them back to the way things were before. Quickly, they leave the side Metatron is standing on and go to join Castiel because they know a winning side when they see it.
Meg smiles up at him, Castiel looks down at her with adoration before turning to Metatron.
"I believe it's time for a regime change." He states.

ok yeah, Crowley has done some shit I'm pretty pissed off about like Killing Meg and I'll never forgive him for that. But he's still played by Mark Sheppard and is still a pretty awesome character!

Don't forget he gave Bobby the use of his legs back...
He makes my British heart sing with his accent and dialects...

If I started hating every character on the show that ever killed off a character I liked there would be no characters left to like. I do like Crowley, a lot. He provided some real comedic relief at some very important points and he's just... ugh... I just like him a lot... even if the bugger did sink my ship. But I still like him a lot and think he's an absolutely excellent character. I can't wait to see what they do with him and his son over the next few seasons, I'm actually quite excited to see that storyline, it has so much potential!
So yes, Crowley did kill Meg and I will forever hate him for it, but it doesn't stop me liking him.
