Meg's New Year's Revolutions 2012
1. Live with DELIBERATION. Jesus did this, in his entire life. He did everything he did for a reason, which is a smart thing to do.
2. Stick with God in everything. I would be nowhere without God in my life; any favor I have is because of Him. It only makes sense for me to stay with Him in everything.
3. Get to know God’s Word. In and out, front and back, like the back of my hand. I think it’s pretty pathetic that many atheists know the Bible better than many Christians do.
4. Do well; do good. That’s all this world really needs, someone who will do good in a hurricane of people who are doing bad. I plan to do well in everything I do.
5. Australia 2013. At this point, I plan on going to Australia for a year for a School of Creative Arts in Oxford Falls. I need to do what I need to do this year, so that I can make it there next year.
6. NEVER stop writing! Pretty much self-explanatory. ;)
7. What do THEY need? I want to stop looking at myself, every bad thing about me, and every bad thing that happens to me. I want to focus on the other people God placed in my life instead, and give them the love and support they so badly need.
8. Find the positives. Again, I want to stop focusing on the bad things that happen to me, and focus more on the good things in my life.
9. Keep learning. I learned a lot about myself, life, and my chosen career this year. I want to keep that up and learn more than I thought I could.
10. Dance in the rain ALWAYS. I absolutely love the rain. :) It cleanses my soul and makes me new.
11. Be more healthy overall. Instead of making silly goals like “work out more” (like the ones I didn’t keep last year), I just want to make healthier decisions in life, to be more healthy.
12. Pray often for those who have meaning in this life (everyone). I don’t think it will be easy to pray everyone on this planet every single day, but I can pray as much as I possibly can. I believe people would be a lot better if only they had spiritual back-up. I plan to be that back-up for as many people as possible.
