Summary: Eighteen-year-old Meg loses her family in a car accident and decides what's dead shouldn't stay dead - she summons a demon in order to get her family back. Turns out Castiel isn't your average crossroads demon and requires more than a kiss to seal the deal.
Once her family is resurrected tensions run high and ultimately Meg decides to move out. She focuses her attention on school and friends - some friends are more dangerous than others. By day she's a student making the best of a less than ideal situation. She doesn't plan on letting her ten years go to waste. By night she dreams about a certain wild-haired demon using her in various ways. Eventually, she drops out of Stanford. Her dreams don't stop though and she takes measures to keep the demon out of her head and heart.
It's not working.
One piece down!!!!!! I repeat, one artwork completed! I need to complete at least one more artwork for my megstiel author at minimum. I am chugging away deanscoltm1911! I'm e-mailing you the completed drawing from tonight now!
Her eyes watched the angel as he closed the top drawer, the one that now held an angel sword just for her. He turned, saw her staring, and gave a wry half-smile.
"You wanted me to tell the truth," Meg said, very slowly as if each word weighed heavily.
"It would be a nice occasion," he answered as he sat down on the bed beside her. Meg propped herself up on an arm and stared at him, unashamed of how her breasts pushed against the cold night air.
"You want me to tell you that you're good. To admit that you're somehow better than me… more pure or deserving, right?" Her eyes trailed over him. "But you're not, Castiel."
It was as if she had physically struck him. She saw the way the words wrapped around Castiel and caused in him a recoil that sent a shudder through him. Nothing of it was betrayed in his expression or his physical body, but she knew the tension went whip-cord tight through his entire being.
"You're as damned and cursed as I am. Only I admit to it. I revel it in it. You're just a delusional idiot who can't recognize how ruined he is."
The blunt words hung in the air, silence following, and Meg had the feeling he was about to strike her.
In just a matter of words, she'd managed to do what Raphael never had. She undermined him completely.
Well, she thought in bitter amusement, she was a demon after all.
"I see." Castiel stood up again and gathered his coat up from the floor, dressing as if to protect himself from the weight and sharp edge of her carefully chosen words. "Then why are you still here?"
"I have a thing for lost causes and lost little men. You're both, feathers, and you're full of all the bad choices that are just downright sinfully delicious to a demon like me."
He glanced over his shoulder at her and Meg was surprised by the hurt she saw there. Damn, she realized, the angel hadn't realized how close he was coming to losing. Not just this but the whole damned thing.
"Then there's nothing more to talk about," Castiel said as he fixed his collar. "Is there?"
Before she could paint a seductive grin on her swollen lips and offer up empty words, he was gone.
Corporate Romace - A Megstiel Big Bang (sneak peek)
so since I wont be able to finish my big bang by the time we end it, I thought I could share a little bit. I will still be writing it but I dont know if it can in fact be finished.
NSFW text under the under the cut. A bit patchy since it's unedited and I have a few blanks to fill.
He was so fucking drunk.
He could barely focus, barely feel his hands.
Jesus Christ.
The only reason he was here was because his brother was promoted. Michael was taking over the fucking company. Michael was gonna be his new boss. Shit.
He rarely drank but tonight he thought that if maybe, just maybe he got hammered enough he could ignore the rejection he had gotten from his father all these years. Novaks didn't draw. Novaks didn't doodle.
They were gods among men, famous among the rich, fuck, he'd even gone to a prestegous school for fuck's sake. And here he was, a fucking graphic designer. A worker bee in a sea of queens. He knew just how repulsed by that fact his father was, how he was expected to be the best of the best, a lawyer, an accountant, not a fucking doodler.
Oh, yeah, he was gonna get smashed and he didn't give a single fuck.
"Hey! Cas!" Gabriel's voice rang over the heavy dance music and Castiel jumped when he felt an arm go around his shoulders. "You havin' fun yet?"
"Ughn," Castiel wanted to face plant his face right on the bar.
"Great! Stay fresh bro!" he managed to watch Gabriel down another drink and order another for Castiel before he took off, his older brother obviously as smashed as he was.
He was just better at hiding it.
--
Castiel felt the lip of the toilet dig into the back of his calf, felt her hands clenched around the color of his shirt, red lips pulled into a smirk as she trailed them up his neck, smearing her make up and digging her nails into his neck.
"Tell me," she whispered, clearly not as drunk as she let on but Castiel didn't care. "What's a pretty boy like you doing i this shitty lace, huh?"
"My...My brother," he whined a little when she let go of his collar to palm him through his pants.
"Bachelor party?"
"Promotion."
"Ah," he breathed in some sweet perfume, wanting almost to lick it off her. The way she cupped his cock was almost too much until she shoved her hands down his pants, feeling him with her cold hands. "Oh."
"Meet your, ah, expectations?"
"Exceeded them," she leaned in close, pushing him against the wall of the stall, the awkward angle making him almost slip under her. "So..."
"Cas."
"Caaassss," she drawled out his name, just the way it sounded in her voice was enough to make him moan, her hand still stroking him before slipping out, his cock achingly hard from her touch and he wondered if she wanted to stop. But when she smiled at him, brown eyes almost glinting in the low light of the bathroom. "What do you say we ditch the corporate romance going on out there and have our own little fling, baby?"
"Yes," he said almost too quickly, feeling her hand slip around his as she unlocked the stall, pulling him through the crowded club and out the door in one confident stride.
Raphael didn't know how much she had been drinking but he damn well know that couldn't have been her little brother being toed out by...was that Michael's new secretary?
"Gabriel," she tugged on her brother's sleeve, ignoring his chatter as she pointed a long finger at the doorway, hearing Gabriel's loud clapping as he finally noticed.
"Holy shit! Who knew he had it in him!"
"Is it his first?"
"Raph," Gabriel snorted. "He's in his thirties I doubt..."
It was a few moments of Gabriel blinking before he whispered "do ya think our baby bro is a forty year old virgin?"
"If he was, I'd assumed you'd be disappointed."
"Well," her brother ordered another drink. "I think someone's gonna get a cake tomorrow."
So I was going to opt out of the big bang for megcas because I did that one massive project that starts with an I and ends in an e, and you know. Work. That was a lot of it and my brain is shut down a bit.
But then someone had to go and be rude on the big bang post, which is something that Q and Mori worked hard on.
I just can't have that.
Regardless if it was deleted or not, because I can't abide rudeness that just brings out the contrary in me. The *ahem* writer fighter if you will. Makes me surly enough to want to write.
