You’re angry. Terribly angry. Ever since RAD, wrath bit at you with venom. It was taking all you could not to punch a wall. Back in the House of Lamentation, you festered in your room for a good while and set your D.D.D on Do Not Disturb. Everyone was confused and worried, wanting to come to you and comfort you, but Satan guarded your door like it was his life on the line.

You’d hear steps approaching your door, and then a low growl. Not even Diavolo could get close, not with Satan in his demon form and snarling at anything and anyone. You knew why he was there, and it eased you slightly when the feeling of understanding spread through you. Satan, Avatar of Wrath, knew what it was like to be in the clutched of wrath the best, and how to handle it.

“Satan, you must-“

“Don’t even get close, Lucifer..”

After a few deep breaths, your anger dissolved into exhaustion. Now, you just felt drained. When you’re creating your own storm in your mind, it takes a lot of energy, and a lot of wasted time.

The door slowly opened behind Satan, both of the demons turning around in shock to see you. How tired you looked, and were those tear stains? Lucifer stood still, as Satan turned around to face you completely.

“Are you sure?” Within a few seconds of eye contact, Satan moved aside to allow you space.

“Thanks Satan, for everything you do.” You smiled softly, then faced a distressed Lucifer. “I apologize for worrying you and everyone.. I just needed space.”

His brows furrowed slightly, observing you and checking for any signs of injuries or wrath. All he found was exhaustion clearly written in the way you could barely hold your smile; written in the way your eyes drooped, with your shoulders sagging.

“No, no you need not apologize.” He sighed softly. “You may rest and take tomorrow off. I will inform Diavolo that you’re not well, and make sure all my brothers respect your space. Do tell us when you decide to shut us out, we were.. concerned.”

You nodded your head slowly, and gave Lucifer a surprise hug. His body went rigid, then reciprocated your affection trifold. You heard Satan huff behind you. After mumbling a thank you to Lucifer, you separated from him and hugged Satan next.

“Don’t thank me, I was only doing what anyone would have wanted.” What I would’ve wanted.

“Cat cafe, next weekend?” You offered, and laughed softly when Satan perked up.

“It’s a date.” He murmured, rubbing your head affectionately like you were a cat.

For once, Lucifer didn’t say anything and left you to it. Satan led you inside your room, albeit surprised when you tugged him in as well.

You both spent the time in comfortable silence, napping together. Your face buried in his chest, and legs tangled with his. An open book sprawled open in Satan’s hand from when he was reading to you.

Little did you know, Asmo snuck inside and clicked a pic of you two sleeping soundly (which you saved as your pfp the next day).

Lucifer was busy scolding Mammon and the Anti-Lucifer League though

Dia wandered around the place and came across your room, sooo he decided to peak in-

He swears it was an accident how he ended up looking in your closet and finding the shrine

POV: You accidentally trip and find a shrine in your favorite human's closet they made of you

Nah, he was checking your closet to see your size since a ball was coming up and he wanted to secretly order you a designer outfit

Diavolo didn't have much of a reaction

He was confused, but since he's the prince of the devildom, seeing shrines in his name weren't uncommon

Coming from you tho.. his heart did flutter

During RAD, Diavolo def called you to his office to check what that was about

"I didn't mean to snoop, but I couldn't help but notice you made a shrine of me. Oh don't worry, I'm not mad. I'm more amused, and curious as to why you made one?"

Hearing your confession did make him laugh, but he quickly stopped when he noticed you looked like you were on the verge of tears

He's started to invite you to the student council more often now, and you have a position there (I don't think you have one in game, it was never mentioned)

He's out of his writer's block, and has been writing nonstop

The exhaustion finally reached him

You allowed him to rest in your room for sometime since he basically looked dead

The sleep deprived angel was ready to fall to his knees and pray to you

He laid in your bed for sometime, but for some reason sleep was not reaching him

He sat up and observed your room, smiling softly

Since he couldn't sleep, he decided to pick up a few things and fix up your room

He opened your closet and looked through your clothes, taking it upon himself to fix up your closet

I sighed, not even bothering to lift my head up as I lolled my head over to my right where the sun kissed angel was sitting.

“Yes? You’ve been staring for quite awhile.” He spoke up, his brilliant eyes glancing at me. It was hard not to get caught up in the image of him. A strong, talented, and cunning angel. Just a few feet away from me.

“Sorry, I couldn’t help but admire you.” I murmured, reaching my hand out to him. It was the truth. Who wouldn’t want to worship the angel before me? It felt like an honor to even be in his presence, let alone share his bed. His fingers slowly intertwined with mines, a soft and warm smile spreading across his flushed face. Simeon shone like the sun. And to a human, the sun is mesmerizing.

“Thanks for allowing me to hide away in your room. Even though the brothers might hate you for it.” The HoL got too chaotic for a simple human to handle. As much as I love them, everyone has their limits.

“You’re always welcome here, my precious cherub.” His delightful chuckle escaped his lips with a soothing spell. I knew I shouldn’t fall for him, but humans always fall for temptations. How I wished to run my fingers through those soft locks of liquid chocolate; to pepper that delicate skin with kisses that know nothing but affection; to bury myself in his warmth and never wake up from the paradise that only comes from being enveloped in his embrace.

“Simeon.. Have you ever loved someone so much, that you can’t imagine the times before you met them?” A sweet and innocent answer, but it didn’t help with covering the love so clearly shown in my eyes.

I saw him pause, then mull it over. His slender fingers rubbed my rough palm as if he was testing the feel of silk. A light glow spread across my face when he spoke again. “I can say that there is someone in mind that fits that description entirely.”

I nodded my head, giving a noncommittal hum in response.

“And, that someone is right here with me. I have lived for a long time, and yet.. no one has touched my heart like you have.” His voice felt so close, his warm breath falling upon my ears. I almost let out a startled gasp at how fast he closed the distance, abandoning the rough draft of his new TSL spin off he was writing.

I felt I was back in the human realm, enjoying my time underneath the sun, dancing along with the clouds that fill the everlasting sky. My breath quickened, and all my mind could focus on was his lips. The angel was cunning, and quite sly, he knew what he was doing to me. He knew how he made me feel. I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Instead, I rubbed his cheeks with both my thumbs, and pulled him into a sweet kiss.

It was long and languid. Full of affection and hidden desires. I smiled into the kiss, feeling his hands in my hair.

We ended up cuddling together, with me on top of him and his face hidden in the crook of my neck. This is just what I needed to revitalize, and who better than the angel whose warmth rivals that of a pleasant summer’s day.
