Another mishap through the Multiverse, another villain on hers and Stephen's toes and thrown through the Multiverse for the second time in only a few years was getting ridiculous. Some dangerous monster had gotten into their world and Shelby had been sucked in through the portal, through the multiverse until she tumbled into this one, though thankfully she landed on her feet. Sporting a split lip and a bruised eye, she watched as the portal behind her disappeared and she swallowed as she heard a familiar voice.
"Tony?" she whispered, cerulean hues wide in shock.
No...this wasn't her Tony. And she wasn't his Shelby.
"M....might be awhile...kind of got sucked through a portal and landed here," Shelby breathed after a moment, wincing as she breathed. Her ribs were most likely bruised. "You said I....died three years ago? How?"
Tony is still for a few moments until he bursts into action. He moves across the room in rapid strides towards a chair then he rolls it over in her direction. "There, that might help a little if you want to sit down after your little trip and I know getting you back home might be difficult but I'm not a genius for nothing." He then gets a sad look on his face "You were in a car accident with a drunk driver and he hit you head on. After all the battles we fought together that was the least violent way that you could go out I guess."
He looks at her then with a frown on his face "By the looks of things when you saw me I'd say that I'm the one that's not so alive where you came from so I would like the dish on that if you wouldn't mind telling me about it." Tony goes over to the nearest work bench and leans against it "That world must be in eternal darkness without me in it because you know I'm the light of everyone's life without me the sun doesn't shine." He laughs and cocks an eyebrow while tilting his head to the side "So was I a genius in your world or just have a regular IQ?"
Tony gets a tablet off the work bench and calls up the energy readings for the lab when Shelby had been dumped through the portal. "Well, the portal did have an energy signature when it opened but the moment it closed that signature disappeared so there's no tracing it. That's going to make things a whole lot harder in the long run." He puts the tablet back down and turns back to her "I don't guess you know how those kind of things work do you? If you did I could probably just build something and send you straight home with it."
