Happened to me too. I thought that it was someone I used to follow who suddenly turned into a nsfw blog but nope. Maybe I clicked follow accidentally but if it happens to other people like you I guess these bots have become more aggressive :(
Tumblr is a disaster...
I don’t think we followed that kind of blog accidentally. I mean, it could happen, but since I block every single bot, once you block them you can’t be following them. My guess is that Tumblr has a bug that makes us follow that kind of blog without our permission. As I usually say, if those bots posted pictures of cute cats, it would be okay, but that kind of content...? It could put a lot of people in an uncomfortable situation. Tumblr really should do something about this. Those bots are profiting from following normal blogs and they are basically linking our normal blogs to nsfw content in search engines.
Or maybe it really is a blog we used to follow that turned into that kind of blog because of a virus, but it seems unlikely. In any case, it’s really worrying.
