“Oooooopsie doopsie! Vasn’t zhat schupposed to be a secret~? Es tut mir leid! My mischtake, honest!”
"I don't trust you."
“You hurt me so, Herr Lowell! I’ve done nozhing do deserve such…aggression…alzhough I must admit, it does make things more……….interesting, doesn’t it?”
Letting his gloved hand twist the bit of hair that fell down so delicately beside his jaw, Yeager’s gaze darkened. It was smart of Yuri to be so hesitant around him, and to hold those eyes so filled with disdain. Certainly Yeager had earned something of it from the way the young man was acting…but the monster didn’t care to think more on it.
Standing before him now was a source of life, a delicious drink to satisfy that thirst that never died down…and something fun to play with, all wrapped up in one delectable package! Now to just reel the poor young man in and finish the job.
“You act so brave und so scary! My, my, my~ Should I be frightened, ja? Should I…quiver before zhat blade you hold onto vith such a cold, schtern grip~? Ooooooooh~ So scary~ So very very scary you are! Vhat ever could I do!”
“I’m not afraid of you.”
There was a smile that tugged at his lips, fangs shimmering faintly in the dim light. This woman was a special…there was no doubt that she would always be. Once, long ago, there was a time where he had offered his heart to her and she had taken it in those careful, confident hands…what a shame it was that she was no longer in the presence of the man with a heart. No longer in the presence of a human. This little bird had taken it with her when she vanished those ten years ago.
What a sad little thing, she was, standing before him now with those confident eyes that teased…..the flare of life…the spark he craved burning like a gentle ember. He wanted it. He’d steal it from her if he had to. This creature he was, this monster….it was, of course, nothing personal. It never was. Though, whether she took it that way, he cared not.
“My my my~! Vhat a brave little birdy you are! Chirp! Chirp! Schtanding before me now vith such courageous vords, ooooh! It gives me chills, ja! Up und down zhis spine of mine! Aber~ My dearest dear…..zhey are not zhe vords you should be using, no, no, no…..Not vith me. Never before have I been more serious in my life. It’s just my nature, you know….to devour zhe life of cute little birdies like you! Und, mein Liebchen…..you should be very….very…afraid~♥”

vigilant-morning-star replied to your post ““Vell someone certainly is a mopey little dog! Sighing und vhining...”
-Unamused staring at Yeager.-
“Oh my my, isn’t zhat a dangerous look, ja!”
“Oh my, my, my, my~! Zhis just cannot do!”
Late nights, early mornings, did it really make a difference? Of course it did! Don’t be silly! What didn’t change, though....was the grogginess within the man’s eyes. He was normally wide awake. Some might even accuse him of being hyper, like someone who had far, far less years on their body. But on the rare occasion where exhaustion did creep up on the man, he did his very very best to best it! That is to say.....he ignored it. However, despite his strongest efforts to ignore the sleep so hard it left his eyes, it just would not work this time.
Stubborn little things, these aches and this soreness that begged for a bed to relieve themselves from the man! Stubborn, stubborn!
But, with his pen in hand and his notebook laid out before him, Yeager refused that dirty beggar, sleep. He refused it and continued on, shifting through the paperwork that he had neglected to fill until now. It was going to be a long....whatever it was, morning or night.
And he was ready for it. Oh how noble!
