Sight restored, it's easy for Jazz to be his sneaky self, slipping with ease into Prowl's office. It's even easier to slide on up to the officer, a mischievous grin on his lips as Jazz is quick to duck down, press his lips to Prowl's belly and blow a raspberry against the metal with a giggle.
And just like usual, the combination of Jazz being sneaky and Prowlfocusing all of his attention on some complicated calculations meant that thesaboteur’s presence wasn’t even registered at first and the Praxian remainedquite oblivious to the incoming assault.
Which would probably explain the fact that Jazz’s action wasn’t met withthe usual blank stare or confusion, but instead made the tactician flinch andtry to back away rapidly – an actionthat he immediately started to regret when his doorwings hit the back of thechair.
There was a pained hiss, then a moment of dead silence as Prowl focused ontrying to turn his sensor panels off.
And then, finally, words. Or rather a single word.
Slow, quiet, andperfectly calm, but with a unusually darkundertone.
Hello 700 followers!
Thank you to everyone who decided to follow my Blaster!
Instead of making this moment with a follow forever, I want to keep it simple and pay a complement to some of the RPers that I have either had the pleasure of interacting with or just simply follow. Since there are SO many of you, (and writing to so many of you would take too much time/make this post too long), I decided to break it down into three categories with shout outs to three blogs each, so don't feel bad if I have yet to mention you. There is a good chance I will do it again at 800 or 900 followers.
Sorry I don’t have a cool image for you to oogle at. :/ The shoutouts are under the cut and in no particular order other than the categories
To three blogs I interact with-
whatwouldprimusdo- One of the best Optimus' on tumblr. It's been great to see you give him a complex and dynamic personality, which IDW Optimus had been sorely lacking.
verdigrisprowl- The most Prowl to ever have Prowled. It's refreshing to see how close you kept him to his canon personality in IDW, and managed to bring him down to where he is very relatable.
jazzyservos- You gotta have more confidence in your Jazz, dude. He's seriously awesome to RP with and you write him really well. I enjoy your interpretation and headcanons for him and his and Blaster's relationship have been fun to play out. :D
To three blogs I simply follow but haven't/barely interact with-
meisterjazz- The other Jazz blog I have really enjoyed seeing on my dash. Your story and headcanons for him have been really interesting to follow and fleshes out Jazz differently while still keeping to a lot of his canon interpretations.
spinningtheclassics- A Blaster I have yet to really play with, although that still might be weird for our characters :P You really fleshed out G1 Blaster, I enjoy reading about his past exploits (Also, we both like our lighthearted music lover just a little more dark, apparently)
vxtum- Warrior monk Cyclonus has been interesting to read, and his relationships, almost all of them I have seen played, hold some kind of strain. It makes for good reading :D
Since OC's don't get a lot of love, to three OC blogs-
revitalistx- Your meek yet not so meek medic is actually super adorable. I'd squish her cheeks, but she might shock me. Also, yes to her and Cassius being Pharma's brats.
goateeofgood- I see you trying to get your OC blogs out there and more active. I see the effort you put into them, kudos for keeping it going.
miniconrightsactivist- Smol anger is smol, cute, and angry. Your OC actually makes the world of RiD, a show I find dull and uninspiring, into something that makes me curiously interested. Also Lingo is hilarious. Which I am sure she doesn't want to be. But she can't help herself. *coos at Lingo cuteness*
Please, don't mind him. He only ran into the door once and spent a long, long time trying to get in your door. It was harder to break into places without the sight to do so. Still, all of Jazz's senses are trained, tuned to the highest caliber, as he uses memory to navigate your office; hoping to find you sitting at your desk. It's not the best plan while blind. "Prowler?"
Prowl was indeed sitting at his desk, even though not actually busy withwork at the moment. Reports and plans has been carefully put away almostinstantly when he noticed that someone was trying to get into his office. Now, hisoptics were following Jazz’s every motion, doorwings twitching ever so slightlyas he tried to resist the urge to jump to his pedes and just drag the saboteur to the nearestchair or the couch. Still, the Praxian forced himself to stay still, suspecting thatJazz would probably prefer to get to him on his own.
”Good to see you, Jazz,” Prowl greeted the saboteur, throwing his emfield wide, open and pulsing with warmth, to help Jazz locate him. “Becareful, there is a chair almost in front of you.”
Lilleths residing currently in a cage on the tactician’s desk chirpedcuriously.
::... I scared Bluestreak. He's outside my quarters... somewhere, I dunno. Down the hall I think. He needs help.::
That message was enough to make Prowl freeze for a moment, a datapadslipping from his servo and hitting the desk, the tactician’s sparkclenching in sudden fear.
Something was wrong.
Bluestreak wasn’t scared of Jazz. Bluestreak trusted Jazz. So why…
Something was wrong.
::I understand. I will search for him immediately,:: despite the almostnauseating wave of worry, his voice remained perfectly calm and soft. ::Couldyou please tell me what happened?::
::Seems I did. I guess you’re lucky cause it was next to this sweet track I was tryin’ t’ hunt down. Where it came from is another thing. I don’t remember picking it from ya, though I guess we got it off Thundercracker then. Which, I guess ya feel me when I say I was surprised t’ see it still working great.::
Jazz, for his part, sounded entirely at ease; as if he held common, small-talk conversations every day with Decepticons.
::Either way, what I can say, is I don’t think I got your piece of this little puzzle all put together yet. Which I guess is my fault, Prowl always did get on me ‘bout all that paperwork… so. Here’s how ‘s all gonna go down, mech. We can either talk, and leave it be that. Or… well, ‘m pretty sure ya know my other way of gettin’ things I wanna know ‘bout.::
::Doubt that. The traitor you got over there isn't from my 'verse. Maybe Prowl put it there – I spoke to that desk oreo a while ago, got his comm by accident.::
The Autobot's tone only served to make Skywarp more cautious. He didn't do cautious though, and trying to pull it off now? Not likely to work well.
::If you think I'm gonna play along with your mind games you got another thing coming, Autoslagger. I don't make a habit of telling your sort what they wanna know.::
