Had it be anyone else, Yuna would’ve been annoyed. She wasn’t easily sympathetic to one’s self-pity, for she simply didn’t like participating in a pity party. Perhaps that was cold-hearted of her, but she couldn’t help it.

However, this was different.

Never in her life had she felt so close to someone. Not even her own parents had the bond with her, as strained as it was. Of course that was completely severed later on, but now wasn’t the time to mull on that.

“Yeah, you are.” She replied casually, taking a bite of the teriyaki they were sharing. Looking at her chop sticks thoughtfully, she nodded and then swallowed, looking back to the man she had dubbed her “little brother”.

“And that’s okay. ‘Cause me and the rest of the crew will always bring you back down to Earth. No matter what, especially me. I’ll be there to catch you when you fall.”

Another bite of food, eyes drifting over to the television idly.

Ah... Well. He wasn’t wrong. It was a well known fact that Lucio wasn’t the tallest of people, but did it really need to be said? 

“It has it’s benefits, I suppose. Smaller target? And people seem to like using me as their personal armrest.” Lucio’s not sure that’s a benefit to him, actually. He’s not even sure why he needs to defend his height at all, but here he was anyway. Though, he supposes, being short also has its drawbacks. Clothing, for one. Are people aware that short people exist and want to wear nice things? Do they know?? Are designers of furniture know that sometimes short people would actually like to be able to reach their top kitchen cupboard instead of having it be labelled as a void zone? DO THEY KNOW?

Anyway. “What is it they always say? Good things come in small packages?”
