Cold steel and unforgiving winds.   It seems to have been all I have known.   All my dreams have offered me as solace. Could it even be considered solace?   The meager amount of comfort from the familiarity was appreciated.   Was it?   Satisfied by meager 'good enoughs.'   Belly up, content.

No. There was something more. A desire that seeped past my dreams. Guarded no longer. My dear friend, something has changed. I've strayed far from my dreams. This place is new, Strange, Foreign.

But I welcome it with open arms. I welcome you, unto my open heart. My friend.
