This week we discussed fan tourism based on a TV show or movie. Any fan of the hit TV series Breaking Bad can recognize the logo for the fake fast food chain “Los Pollos Hermanos” that is a set up for a large plot line within the show. Based on this made up restaurant, merchandise has been made with the restaurants logo branded on it. Some individuals took it a step further and actually use the logo for their own business. Some have even adopted the name and logo to become a real life Los Pollos Hermanos location. The legality of that is a bit of a grey area since it is a made up restaurant. In any case, these real life LPH locations do draw in customers that recognize the name from the show and try out the food.

There are many people who travel to Comic Con to showcase their costumes, art and to meet celebrities, however some travel their to collect exclusive art and figures that are only sold at Comic Con. These items maybe an alternative and rarer version of a figure that already exist or a one time only sale at the Con. In this video, this youtuber goes over some of the most popular Comic Con exclusive items.

HBO's Watchmen Is Better Than Snyder's Movie - But You Already Knew That

HBO's Watchmen series has already proven itself a better adaptation than the 2009 film. And the signs this would be the case were there early on.
