Today I officially told my boss I was resigning in 2 weeks and it felt SO DAMN GOOD I am beyond excited for the next 3 weeks and everything that is to happen next

im feeling v v unsetteled and restless. property ppl from melbourne called amd im being sent through a rental application but rn it looks highly likely that im moving in a week...this all happening so fast and im nervous and scared as fuck but im so excited oh my god. Its weird though that making one decision and following through with it has the capability of completely chanigng my life....more people should do this tbh! scarfrjhsf

i am very hardcore for moving here and im really proud of myself BUT i would definitely not have made it here if it werent for some very helpful friends and family members.

dad is literally paying my rent for me until my centrelink money comes through/i can get a job, and i would NOT have found this house if it werent for maddy, who let me stay at her place for a few days and helped me house hunt to find this perfect house.

not to mention all the people who spared some money via my donate button, which helped pay for my flight, and also the countless people (followers, family, friends) who gave me moral support. (which is JUST as important as financial support!!)

there were some VERY stressful times when i was making plans to move here and if it weren't for all the support i received i could have very well given up!!

so i guess this is me ineloquently expressing my gratitude to the countless people who helped me get here

i owe a lot of my (present and future) happiness to you :*

ok this is what my new room looks like

it's not that impressive yet but there are a few things i think im gonna add i.e a heart shaped mirror i saw at kmart today

here is a list of just some of the good things about the place i'm moving into on wednesday:

its really clean and modern and nice

it has a spiral staircase

the three people living there are really lovely and friendly and they're all non drinking non smoking vegetarians

the bathroom has a spa. A FUCKING SPA.

the shower has this really cute floral rosy pattern on the glass (i'm defs gonna take a picture to post to my blog its so femme and cute)

they have really cool pet fish like u no the white ones with the big orange lump on the head??? idk what they're called but they're precious babies (i just looked it up and they're called "fancy goldfish")

my room is a decent size and it has a desk and a bed and a huge wardrobe

the natural light is really nice like the whole place is very bright and lovely

the rent is only $115 per week (that doesnt include bills but its still pretty affordable!!)

its a 25 minute walk away from the uni but i could get a bike and it'd be much quicker to get there

its like 2 seconds away from middle footscray station

im allowed to grow veggies in the garden if i want to

im allowed to have overnight visitors whenever i want and they don't have to pay or anything

oh hey i haven't even blogged about this yet

this morning i rang the land lady of the house i wanted to move into and she said that the remaining 3 rooms had been filled that night and that morning

i'm calling bullshit though because i looked at that house at 7pm and called her first thing in the morning so i dont know how she filled all 3 rooms overnight

i guess she just didnt like me

i just got an email from the owner of the house i was going to look at tomorrow saying that both rooms have been taken (talk about short notice ugh)

which i guess means i know where i'm living now????? which is good actually because i liked the second place i looked at today wow i'm gonna ring the owner first thing tomorrow morning!!!
