the saddest part for me in regards to Taylor not performing at the Melbourne Cup would have to be the fact that the older i get the more i lose hope. Yeah it sounds selfish, but I’ve tried to meet taylor since i was 9 years old, so for over a decade now. I go and support her performances at every opportunity i possibly get to try and give myself another chance to meet my idol. The Melbourne cup was an event in which people from australia had the chance to go and see Taylor perform songs off her new album and didn’t feel like they were missing out by being international fans. I definitely think the circumstances were shitty but i also think people should watch out for the next time they say they will always support taylor no matter what. Because lets face it, considering all the backlash she recieved she was basically bullied into cancelling her set at this event. Don’t complain of being an international fan and never getting anything because look what happens when she does book events.

Im not mad at anyone, i’m just a disappointed as heck swiftie rn ⭐️☹️♥️
