Combining our personal passion for alfresco living and our professional expertise as building specialists, Innovative Verandahs has enjoyed the opportunity to design and construct beautiful outdoor living environments for many happy clients.

Shane Spiteri

Always a lover of the outdoors, Shane’s early introduction to working outside was when he helped his dad with landscaping projects. First employed in 2002 in the family business, Shane specialised in residential paving, discovering his love for landscape architecture and design.

Spending his spare time sketching house plans and designing his dream home, he studied building construction and obtained his building license in 2009. 

Understanding that many clients were seeking an all-in-one experience, he then began to focus on additional areas such as earth moving, concreting, decks, verandahs and hard and soft landscaping. This long journey culminated in establishing Innovative Verandahs in 2014 after discovering the quality offered by the Stratco Outback range. James Farrugia

Hands-on from a young age, James passion for working with cars made him into the perfectionist he is today. Realising that he would find it difficult to make a living in this arena, James became a plumber specialising in drainage.

On the side, he continued to collect and refurbish cars, ending up with so many that he had to build a verandah at home to keep them protected. This decision changed his life, becoming a patio-building specialist back in 2006. 

After many years constructing patios, verandahs and pavilions for residential, schools, parks and even the Melbourne Star, James is now thoroughly rewarded by his integral role with Innovative Verandahs.
