crazy little painting inspired by “Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan”
Jacques again! This time with his favourite little man Melchior. I did this last year I think.. but if you want to know the lore behind it.. uh.. SPOILERS.. yes.. wellll Unfortunately only one of these little guys are able to ascend into godhood.. Jacques sort of kind of throws Melchy under the bus in order to ascend, he loses track of himself and really fixates on that goal.. he’s also kinda mad at Melchy at that point for various reasons but Jacques uses very pointed language in his argument for why Melchy shouldn’t ascend, making him out to be a crazy awful sinner which results in his banishment to their equivalent of Hell. Awwww that’s saaad.. but he regrets it.. pretty immediately… I wonder what he does about that regret?? Aren’t you curious??? You best be cause I worked real hard on this plot.
