continued from here for @seolinah
melissa hadn't expected much of a response but she was quietly delighted at the firey reaction to her revelation. noah was often very focused on her job and at least at work, melissa hadn't noticed such vigor and spirit. she liked it. "i cannot recall asking you for your personal history," she started, cold as every, but then an amused smile played around her lips - ever so subtly. "but i am glad you approve of my parenting." she said, sarcasm lacing every word but she was clearly not angry, but rather tickled. "the problem is that mostly, i have the whole weekend booked with engagements - dinners, meetings, as you know." it was after all noah that planned all that. "and my maid and babysitter is halfway across the world." if this call hadn't been so last minute - it was friday after all - she would have called the woman back to the states immediately - whether she was visiting family or not. and then she figured that there may be a solution to her problem, as unconventional as it may be. "do you have any experience, with children?" she asked.
