What I got from the reading was that Rhetors provide the voice for the discourse. Although, bizter excludes them from his division of rhetorical situations. They are still an important part of the rhetorical situation. They create an identity for the authority of the situation and also play several roles for the audience. However, I would like exigence to be clarified a bit more. I do not fully understand it.
