Unpopular opinion time: what’s the one movie/tv series/book everybody likes that you can’t get into, and why?

Doctor Who. I just can't. I can get really thrown out of something if the plot takes a whacky turn that doesn't work for me. I've got this same problem with Joss Whedon's stuff, too. Also, 9th doctor's episodes were like half made of zombie-esque villain-creatures and I can't even deal with zombies. Cannot even deal. But I see the gifs sometimes, and I want to be part of it. So I keep trying to go back, even though it hurts me at equal, differing turns.

You get one ride in the TARDIS with the Doctor. Where and/or when will you go and why?

I had to narrow it down to two options and asked my roommate to choose heads or tails. She chose tails, which is going back to chill with Eleanor of Acquitaine. She was a BAMF and I love her to pieces. She was basically like, I'll sleep with who I want to, I'll live and love where I want to. And I want this kid to be king. Also I'm going to survive into my 80s in the 12th century. Though I need to learn old French :(

You get stuck alone in an elevator for an hour, before the maintenance people can get you out. How do you cope?

Try to not panic (I'm slightly paranoid) and also sing. Or daydream fics. Probably daydream fics, that's what I normally do when waiting places that I can't escape. I'm looking at you, Post Office.

What’s the most annoying song in the world?

I'm on Fire by Bruce Springsteen because all of my rape triggers go off when I listen to it. The lyrics I guess aren't that bad, but the way he sings it just screams sleezy man who broke into my house while the boyfriend/roommate/cat/President is away and is obsessed with me and I can't get away. I fucking hate that song.

What’s the one skill you wish you have?

I wish I could act :(

What are your top 3 go-to comfort food?

Mac&cheese, tuna casserole, and grilled cheese sandwiches made with sourdough and cheddar.

Any advice to your 15-year old self?

Don't go to military school, don't date George Taray, ask Taylor Marks out, read up on health studies to shove them in Grandma's face for whenever she tries to fatshame you. Sing more and ask for help.

Do you have any article of clothing that makes you feel particularly pretty when you wear it on?

Not a single item, per se, but I do adore square-necklines on shirts and dresses. I feel professional (no V leading to cleavage, no too-low cuts) but there is a certain Style to the cut and I feel super pretty and cute when I wear the shirt's I've got that have that.

You can magically teleport one online friend to your house right now. Who will you choose and what will you guys do?

Had to go with the roommate blind-option again because there's a list of top-four this time around. Though I'll have you know, I'd choose all four from the list in a second (H, D, M and Cat). We'd live in a cranky Victorian house six or seven blocks from here and do art and talk about our headcanons while we make big family style dinners and watch our favorite shows and do whatever to pay the rent or something I don't know.

I would knit and crochet stuff for all of us too.

Name a fictional character that you can identify with so much.

Magnus Pym, from A Perfect Spy. I know his ending is tragic (certain characters you can *taste* it), but I just kind of *get* him and understand why certain things get done and said. That also makes me kind of sad, because Magnus is a spy and therefore is genuinely deceitful out of either the cruelest or kindest intentions. I know this about myself, and I hate it but like Magnus I don't really know where I can stop.

How will you spend tomorrow if it’s the last day of the world?

I would get a full tank of gas, call my brother, and just chat and try to laugh with him as I drive all the way up to Astoria with my mom so that we can hang out with my friend Cat.
