Does anyone else feel like their characters? Like, not in a ‘I have crafted them with my own experiences and I can relate as a result’ way. More a ‘I can feel their specific emotion as if it is mine and I remember why and how to some extent’ way.

I just sat in bed feeling extremely pissed off remembering a memory while listening to a song and the thing is, it’s not even my memory. It’s my character being pissed off. Not me.

Is this normal / is this my way of feeling empathy or should I be worried / look into something specific?

I AM LITERALLY SCARED OF CATS AND DOGS WHEN I SEE THEM IRL. LIKE I GET EXTREMELY ANXIOUS AND JUMPY AROUND THEM.

THEY JUST LOOK LIKE PEOPLE BUT AS ANIMALS AND YOU KNOW WHEN YOU MEET SOMEONE YOU GO LIKE 'oh wow they are,,, they are actually standing in front of me,,, they are real. they arent just some internet person who is only a screen. i can touch their hair and hold their hand and it would be real and it would happen. holy shit.'
