Also, I’ve been seeing Melody and hope, and assuming it was Sid that was going to have to regain hope.
But I’m not sure Sid could ever really lose hope without the world collapsing. She maintains his hope.
But she helps Marisa regain hers.

Alright. I need to get back to work on Karma, because I’m not entirely sure where I’m going with this.
Sid is talking to Chance right now, and hearing his story. Melody wants him to help Chance. I don’t know how that’s going to go.
Melody has appeared. And like I suspect, she knows what’s going on.
I need to make her more realistic. But that’ll happen in editing.
I need to push Sid to the breaking point. The point where he’s ready to give up hope. And then, Melody comes in. And she’s hope. She makes everything better again. Gives Sid hope when he’s lost it.
I feel like Marisa has taken over the hero thing so successfully that there’s not that much left for Sid to do.
I need more conflict. I need more something. Because something is missing, and I don’t know what it is. They got Melody, but what comes next? I don’t know.
There are other parts of the story, but Sid isn’t there for them. Marisa and Kiera are the ones in charge of Nico’s programs. Everyone has jobs and Sid feels left out, because they work perfectly fine without him. He doesn’t want to use his powers, and there isn’t as much reason for him to.
So what the hell does he do?
I guess I’ll need to find a reason for them to need him.
I need to start thinking about what happens next. They got Melody back, and that part of my plot is over. I mean, it will linger, of course. Sid is going to help Chance, and Melody wants to meet her heroes. And I think Melody is going to be a bigger player.
But there is another case. I don’t know what it is just yet. I need to also work on Sid learning more about Sophie. But I want to learn things that I didn’t already know. Because Unlucky comes first, and Sid needs to learn more about things the audience doesn’t already know.
Right now, Sid is just kind of wandering around. He just heard from Cameron, so I guess we’ll see where that goes.
Nico can’t help Melody which means that Sid did something or Sophie did. The question is what and when, and how did it spiral this. Maybe in Sophie’s last moments she wished I’ll on someone, hoping to break her fall. A whole lot of ill. There was blame. And maybe it was her that brought Duck Wilson’s worst fears to life. And the cat came back and everything went to hell. And everything he wanted was gone. He wanted a good life for his son. A life that wasn’t full of bitterness and him. And Sophie took that away.
So I have legit no idea where this story is going next. I do hope the story has a plan ‘cause I don’t. Sid and Kiera just argued the entire way to see Chance Wilson, and when they got there, Sid is like this is a bad idea, and Kiera knocks anywhere.
I left off right when the door opened.
Now, I know that he took Melody. But they don’t know that. And I’m not sure it’s time for them to know that. He’s going to be an important character, but I know jack shit about him, other than his dad was an asshole, who left when he was about 9/10 (after his mother kicked his father out), and then was in jail for awhile. His father recently OD’d in his house. That’s all I got though.
I have no idea what they’re going to say to him. And neither does Sid. So this should be fun.
