Okay not to throw you more FE stuff but I just had an idea. Your MU can marry Lissa so 1) you'll live in the same house as Chrom and 2) Lissa's kid uses swords but has high magic you could make him a tactician like dad, and boom. Use all the skills! (That's it. I had this epiphany and you're the only person the epiphany was for)
