Heyy I‘m super sorry if you get this question a lot and I’ve missed it, but could you explain what Hunky Dory is about? Is it original or fanwork? Is it purely a comic or part of multiple… uh things?

haha aw dont worry about it. It's my bad for talking as though everyone can look into my brain xD HD is my original comic that I hope to publish, whether by myself or with external help. I've worked on it for 3+ years now.... le sigh. As I said, the plot comes from my Oil! Fanfic so it's very fifty shades... in that sense.

I do not have the gift of the summary but the story will follow Martin, who's a petty one-horse town farmer and preacher. Martin lives every day trying to control and micro-manage his family, specifically his twin Mal that he percieves as his lesser self, but his control slips when he meets rugged sailor George who uses him to find a buried family treasure of gold and more gold, as well as find George's daughter Dolly... They have to team up and look for em together, Martin being reduced to George's punching bag and losing control in the process<3 lowkey sm ritual bonding hijinks<3
the story is divided in acts so act 2 does take place in a fictional american city (ish frisco) Where we follow Dolly, who has married Martin, becoming close with Martin's twin Mal as well as a lively gang of organizers and circus performers... George and Martin in law drama in the background.... this part is written but not yet thumbnailed or sketched like the first one, but it's the one I' most looking forward drawing.... err yeas......x)
Also pls do ama about anything about the story cause I am very stoked about it.

speaking of, i didnt wanna mention it in case i jinx it until a while in but vol 1 of Hunky Dory will be finished by autumn this year^.^ been super busy with commission work but slowly and steadily it's been done...:) and it's gonna debut in a very fun way .. stay tuned... so i wanna slowly release some martin art from teh archives as we go this year. yay. <3
just finished watching 'there will be blood' and all throughout i thought daniel and eli reminded me of your ocs + dynamics you usually draw only to discover that you made fanart for the movie already loll
yayyy lolol i love twbb ive made so many amvs, cosplays, fics and fanarts for it!! and a long lost sculpture... but yes, my ocs are very based on my scrapped oil! fanfic, so like, fanfic of the upton sinclair book that also inspired twbb... that i also was obsessed with and performed live with my friends in our apartment once upon a time haha. and yes we made whiskey and goat milk shots...

wanted to mke this into a print but not so sure anymore :’/ wahh potato potato!
this may be an odd, strangely phrased question but-- what's your pen pressure like when digitally painting? do your brushes get heavily affected by your pen pressure or are they even throughout? and do you have opacity via pressure applied to brushes used for painting, for example the sorta "ms paint airbrush"-y looking one in your "mozart rpf" speedpaint (lol).

noo its not weird:) usually full opacity on the brushes with very few exceptions. i think otherwise it’s just whatever standard round brush or airbrush the program offers,,, ireally don’t tweak anything much. i have some degree of pen presure so its’s not just a straight line but i like to have a uniform, thick line weight. recently discovered like what 15 years into drawing digital that i could change the pressure so i dont have to press down super hard with my wrist…..wrow… magical^_^
Can you please put more Garashir content on your shop? Or maybe a little digital zine of your comics about them?
i could put together a digital zine but i feel like all of my comics are digitally on tumblr already….😅 but i can compile stuff if people like? other than that im happy to offer up some garashir stuff, i love them.
