Melody looked down at the man before her, her head tilted to the side just a bit. "Soooo." she started. "what's a pirate?" She crossed her legs leaning back a bit on the tree branch she sat on.

Killian noted that there was someone there beside him, but at first he didn't care. Then the girl began to speak, the pirate smiled and crossed his arms, looking at her. "A pirate? It's hard to explain it, lass. Well, I guess we are men who love the sea and who want to live and die listening to the sound of the waves, the smell of the sea and maybe taking a risk with the sea creatures."

Melody was in the forest that bordered Burgess, she had headphones in and was softly signing along to the song that was playing. Everything seemed peaceful and quiet to the girl

Howl sat on the broken bed frame that led to his father's lair, many mini fairies were around him squeaking to him. They had done a tooth run and all were admiring the teeth, Howl picked one up from his hand.

"Isn't it the most adorable lateral incisor ever, look how he flossed!"

Jade didn't know why, out of all the places she could go, she went to Melody. Maybe she liked the girl more than she cared to admit, maybe she knew that Melody was one of the few people she knew she could resist hurting... she'd resisted before.

She could resist now, she knew she could. She slips through the shadows, the darkness that's protection was suddenly so much more important, and into Melody's room, bright eyes locating the girl instantly where she was by the piano. "Melody," she calls softly, hesitantly.
