As a side experiment I applied heat to CD's by burning them with a lighter and placing them in the oven to distort their shape, I am realising now that not only is their form distorted but so is their colour, I love the pools of holographic colour that swirl like the paint, they achieve that glitchy sensation I've been trying to reach with paint. A lot of the work I have been researching and creating lately remind me of melting, which ties in here with the heating of the discs.
